A fire risk assessment is legally required under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
You need a fire risk assessment if you are:

- A Responsible Person for a block of apartments or house of multiple occupation (HMO)
- Managing a licensed property
- A charity or voluntary organisation

- Occupying a floor or area within a larger building
